An Air Inuit Boeing 737-200, registration C-GMAI performing flight 3H-756 from Val d'or,QC to Montreal,QC (Canada) with 20 passengers and 4 crew, was on approach to runway 24R on autopilot initiating a right hand turn onto the localizer when the crew felt a jolt and the roll to the right increased rapidly with the controls near neutral. The crew disengaged the autopilot, despite left aileron input the roll to the right continued for a moment before the crew regained control of the aircraft. The aircraft continued the approach for a safe landing.

The Canadian TSB reported a Boeing 787-9 was 5nm ahead of the aircraft.
