A Jazz Canadair CRJ-705, registration C-FNJZ performing flight QK-7744 from Vancouver,BC to Saskatoon,SK (Canada) with 63 passengers and 4 crew, was on short final to Saskatoon's runway 15, tower had reported winds 180 degrees at 18 knots gusting 29 knots, when in the flare the right wing suddenly dropped. Both pilots (pilot flying/first officer and the captain) applied flight control inputs to correct the wing drop, and continued the landing without further incident.

The Canadian TSB reported a post flight walk around did not result in any observations, the aircraft completed its return flight. A new crew took the aircraft and discovered damage to the right wingtip and forward leading edge lift device. The aircraft was removed from service, the TSB read out the flight data recorder showing the roll exceeded 12 degrees of roll during landing.
