A Maersk Air Cargo Boeing 767-200, registration OY-SRF performing flight DJ-6645 from Porto (Portugal) to Cologne (Germany), was in the initial descent towards Cologne when the crew heard a bang from one of the engines (CF6) and shut the engine down. The aircraft continued for a safe landing on runway 32R about 25 minutes later.

The aircraft is still on the ground in Cologne about 21 hours after landing.
