A Nippon Cargo Airlines Boeing 747-8 freighter, registration JA14KZ performing flight
KZ-51 from Amsterdam (Netherlands) to Milan Malpensa (Italy), was climbing out of Amsterdam's runway 24 when the crew indicated they had problems with their landing gear and would like to level off at FL060. The aircraft stopped the climb at FL070 and entered a hold while troubleshooting. The crew reported they had the gear down again and locked and were ready to return to Amsterdam. The aircraft landed safely on Amsterdam's runway 18R about 45 minutes after departure.
The aircraft is still on the ground in Amsterdam 36 hours after landing back.
