A Perimeter Aviation de Havilland Dash 8-300, registration C-GLKY performing flight JV-1551 from Winnipeg,MB to Theresa Point,MB (Canada) with 48 people on board, was on approach to Theresa Point when the crew selected the gear down but the gear did not react. The crew decided to return to Winnipeg, upon approach to Winnipeg the crew performed an emergency gear down procedure but did not receive a down and locked indication for the nose gear. The crew performed a low approach to have the nose gear inspected from the ground and received the information, the nose gear appeared to be down. The aircraft subsequently landed safely.

The Canadian TSB reported maintenance found loose wires at the landing gear inhibit switch and resecured them.
