A PIA Pakistan International Airlines Boeing 777-300, registration AP-BHV performing flight PK-9760 from Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) to Lahore (Pakistan), landed on Lahore's secondary runway 36L and slowed safely. Due to the necessity to backtrack the runway to taxi to the apron the aircraft rolled to the end, turned left onto the turn pad and began to turn around but stopped about half way into the turn. The aircraft remained in that position for about 55 minutes until it was pushed back a bit and then towed to the apron.

The aircraft was able for flight PK-211 about 3.5 hours after landing and about 2.5 hours after being towed to the apron.

Lahore's primary runway is still closed due to reconstruction work.

According to NOTAMs for Lahore, that were available between September 2020 and March 2021, but then disappeared, the dimensions of the turn pad require caution by operating crews while performing the turn.
