A Pobeda Boeing 737-800, registration VP-BQB performing flight
DP-528 from Naberezhyne Chelny to St. Petersburg (Russia), was enroute at FL360 about 120nm northeast of Moscow Vnukovo Airport (Russia) when the crew reported the failure of the right hand engine (CFM56) and decided to divert to Moscow Vnukovo. The crew initially descended the aircraft to FL250 and landed safely on Vnukovo's runway 06 about 35 minutes after leaving FL360.
A replacement Boeing 737-800 registration VP-BPJ reached St. Petersburg with a delay of 2 hours.
The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Moscow about 24 hours after landing.
