AA-5151 from Washington National,DC to Raleigh/Durham,NC (USA), was accelerating for takeoff from Washington's runway 01 when the crew rejected takeoff at high speed due to a wing overheat indication. The aircraft slowed safely, vacated the runway onto runway 33 and returned to the apron.
The aircraft remained on the ground for about 4 hours, then departed and reached Raleigh/Durham with a delay of 3.5 hours.
