AA-5104 from Washington National,DC to Knoxville,TN (USA), was climbing out of Washington when the crew stopped the climb at 10,000 feet and decided to divert to Charlotte,NC due to an nose gear disagree indication. In Charlotte the crew performed a low approach to Charlotte's runway 18C. Tower reported that the gear appeared to be down and locked. The aircraft positioned for another approach to runway 18C and landed safely.
A replacement CRJ-900 registration N574NN reached Knoxville with a delay of about 3 hours.
