A Qantas Boeing 737-800, registration VH-VZT performing flight
QF-102 from Nadi (Fiji) to Sydney,NS (Australia), was enroute at FL340 about 280nm southwest of Nadi when the crew decided to return to Nadi due to fumes in the cabin. The aircraft landed safely on Nadi's runway 02 about 50 minutes later.
The airline reported the fumes were related to a galley oven and dissipated quickly, no passengers were affected.
The flight is estimated to be delayed by about 21.5 hours.
