A Red Sea Airlines Boeing 737-800, registration SU-RSA performing flight 4S-3001 from Cairo (Egypt) to Barcelona,SP (Spain), departed Cairo's runway 05L, climbed to FL360 and FL370 enroute and landed on Barcelona's runway 24R about 3:45 hours after departure.
The aircraft was unable to depart for the return flight and is still on the ground in Barcelona about 76 hours (3 days 4 hours) after landing.
The Aviation Herald received information that the aircraft suffered tyre damage with tyre debris impacting and damaging wings and flaps causing substantial damage.
