A S7 Sibir Airlines Airbus A320-200, registration VP-BOL performing flight
S7-1146 from Chelyabinsk to Moscow Domodedovo (Russia), was climbing out of Chelyabinsk when the aircraft flew through a thunderstorm and received hail strike which caused both windshields' outer panes to crack. The crew continued the flight to Moscow for a safe landing at Domodedovo Airport about 2:20 hours after departure.
The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Moscow about 24 hours after landing.
