A Shree Airlines de Havilland Dash 8-400, registration 9N-ANF performing flight 9N-223 from Kathmandu to Dhangarhi (Nepal) with 87 people on board, was climbing out of Kathmandu about 25nm from the airport when the crew noticed problems with the left hand engine (PW150A), stopped the climb at 14,000 feet and decided to return to Kathmandu, where the aircraft landed safely.
The aircraft is still on the ground in Kathmandu about 12 hours after landing back.
