A Shree Airlines de Havilland Dash 8-400, registration 9N-ANR performing flight S2A-821 from Kathmandu to Bhairawa (Nepal) with 78 people on board, was climbing out of Kathmandu when the crew stopped the climb at about 11,000 feet due to a right hand engine (PW150A) fire indication. The crew shut the engine down and returned to Kathmandu for a safe landing on runway 02 about 21 minutes after departure. The passengers disembarked safely.
The airport reported the aircraft returned due to a right hand engine fire warning, the passengers are going to be taken to Bhairawa with another aircraft.
