A Skywest Canadair CRJ-200 on behalf of United, registration N910EV performing flight UA-5729 from Bismarck,ND to Denver,CO (USA) with 41 people on board, was climbing through 8000 feet out of Bismarck's runway 13 when the crew reported the failure of the right engine (CF34), stopped the climb and descended to 7000 feet initially, subsequently positioned for an ILS approach to runway 13 and landed safely on runway 13 about 30 minutes after departure.

A replacement CRJ-200 registration N915EV reached Denver with a delay of about 3.5 hours.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Bismarck on Aug 13th 2021.
