A Skywest Canadair CRJ-700 on behalf of American Airlines, registration N374CA performing flight
AA-3210 from Phoenix,AZ to Reno,NV (USA), was climbing out of Phoenix when the crew requested to level off at 8000 feet subsequently reporting one of their pressurization systems had just failed. After running the checklists the crew decided to return to Phoenix and landed safely back on runway 26 about 20 minutes after departure.
The Aviation Herald received information the aircraft had been dispatched under minimum equipment list requirements with one pack inoperative.
