A Smartwings Boeing 737-800, registration HA-LKG performing flight 7O-737 from Budapest (Hungary) to an unknown destination, was climbing out of Budapest's runway 31L when the runway was closed due to a possible bird strike. The aircraft levelled off at 2500 feet MSL and entered a hold while the crew was working the checklists. The aircraft returned to Budapest for a safe landing on runway 31R about 30 minutes after departure.
