A Southwest Boeing 737-700, registration N752SW performing flight WN-1563 from Sacramento,CA to Santa Ana,CA (USA), had departed Sacramento's runway 35R, climbed to FL350 and was descending towards Santa Ana when the crew decided to divert to Los Angeles reporting they suspected they had lost of a tyre. The aircraft landed safely on Los Angeles' runway 25L.

The FAA reported: "AIRCRAFT REPORTED POSSIBLE TIRE LOSS, LANDED AND TAXIED WHERE ARFF CHECKED THE TIRES, ONE FRONT TIRE WAS MISSING, THE LEFT FRONT TIRE WAS MISSING, WHICH HIT AGAINST THE FUSELAGE AND CAUSED DENTS, AIRCRAFT WAS TAKEN OUT OF SERVICE FOR REPAIRS.", the damage was "UNKNOWN" and the occurrence was rated an incident.
