A Spirit Airlines Airbus 319-100, registration N521NK performing flight NK-1818 from Las Vegas,NV to Sacramento,CA (USA) with 112 passengers and 5 crew, was on approach to Sacramento descending through about 6000 feet when all electronics were lost. The crew started the APU and continued for a safe landing on runway 35L.

The occurrence came to light by a notification by the NTSB released on Feb 2nd 2022 rating the occurrence an incident and stating, that the NTSB opened an investigation. The NTSB wrote: "On February 15, 2020, at about 7:42 AM pacific standard time (PST), Spirit Airlines Flight 1818, an Airbus A319-132, registration N521NK, lost all electronics while on approach to Sacramento International Airport (SMF), Sacramento, California. The flight crew switched to auxiliary power and the airplane landed uneventfully. The airplane was towed to the gate, and passengers deplaned normally."
