A Summit Air Avions de Transport Regional ATR-72-200, registration C-FEUR performing flight SMM-7311 from Thompson,MB to Island Lake,MB (Canada) with 2 crew, was in the initial climb out of Thompson when the crew selected the gear up, the gear however did not retract. The crew declared emergency and returned to Thompson for a safe landing.
