A Transavia France Boeing 737-800, registration F-GZHX performing flight
TO-3367 from Djerba (Tunisia) to Paris Orly (France), was climbing through about FL300 about 80nm northnorthwest of Djerba and about 110nm south of Tunis (Tunisia) when the crew observed a missile exploding in their 10 o'clock position at the same altitude as their aircraft. Upon query by the crew ATC explained there was an active military area about 25nm west of their position, the crew however believed the explosion had occurred much closer to them. The crew of another aircraft confirmed observing the explosion, too. The aircraft continued to destination without further incident and landed safely about 2.5 hours later.
