A Transcarga Airbus A300B4-200, registration YV560T performing flight T9-1523 from Bogota (Colombia) to Caracas (Venezuela), was climbing out of Bogota's runway 31L when the crew selected the gear up but could not move the gear handle fully into the upper position, the handle got stuck about half way. The crew worked the related checklist without success. The crew stopped the climb at about 15000 feet and returned to Bogota for a safe landing on runway 31L about 28 minutes after departure.

The Colombian DIACC rated the damage to the aircraft minor, the occurrence a serious incident and opened an investigation.
