A Transcarga International Airlines Airbus A300B4-200, registration YV560T performing flight T9-1521 from Manaus,AM to Sao Paulo Guarulhos,SP(Brazil), was climbing out Manaus when the crew stopped the climb at about FL280 due to a left hand engine (CF6) problem. The crew shut the engine down and returned to Manaus for a landing on runway 11 about 50 minutes after departure. A number of tyres deflated as result of the landing.
The aircraft is still on the ground in Manaus 6 days later, the left hand engine is being replaced.
