A United Airbus A320-200, registration N410UA performing flight
UA-464 from Saint Louis,MO to Denver,CO (USA) with 37 people on board, was enroute at FL320 about 50nm east of Kansas City,MO (USA) when the crew decided to divert to Kansas City reporting fumes in the cockpit. The aircraft landed safely on runway 27 about 15 minutes after leaving FL320.
A replacement A320-200 registration N438UA reached Denver with a delay of about 5:15 hours.
The occurrence aircraft remained on the ground in Kansas City for about 3 hours, then positioned to Denver and remained on the ground in Denver for about 10 hours before returning to service.
