A United Boeing 737-700, registration N38727 performing flight UA-1928 from Chicago O'Hare,IL to Madison,WI (USA), was on approach to Madison's runway 36 when the crew reported a bird strike against their windshield. The aircraft continued for a safe landing.

The FAA reported: "AIRCRAFT STRUCK BIRD CAUSING DAMAGE TO WINDSHIELD", the damage was unknown the occurrence rated an incident.
