A United Boeing 737-900, registration N64844 performing flight
UA-2350 from San Diego,CA to Chicago O'Hare,IL (USA), was on approach to Chicago's runway 10C when the aircraft sustained a lightning strike. The aircraft continued for a safe landing.
The FAA reported: "AIRCRAFT WAS STRUCK BY LIGHTNING DAMAGING THE EXIT POINT, CHICAGO, IL.", the damage was "UNKNOWN".
The aircraft is still on the ground in Chicago about 25 hours after landing.
