A Vistara Airbus A320-200N, registration VT-TNI performing flight
UK-697 from Delhi to Amritsar (India) with 146 people on board, had just levelled off at cruise FL300 when the crew decided to turn around and return to Delhi reporting a hydraulic failure. The aircraft landed back on Delhi's runway 28 about 55 minutes after departure.
The airline reported a "technical snag" prompted the return to Delhi.
A replacement A320-200N registration VT-TNS reached Amritsar with a delay of 5 hours.
