A Vueling Airbus A320-200, registration EC-MGE performing flight
VY-6246 from Barcelona,SP (Spain) to Zurich (Switzerland), was in the initial climb out of Barcelona's runway 25L when the aircraft received a bird strike prompting the crew to stop the climb at 6000 feet and return to Barcelona for a safe landing on runway 25R about 35 minutes after departure.
The aircraft is still on the ground in Barcelona about 7 hours after landing back.
