A Wasaya Airways de Havilland Dash 8-100, registration C-FABA performing flight
WT-815 from Wiebenville,ON [CXX2] to Fort Severn,ON (Canada), was climbing to FL210 out of Wiebenville when the crew observed a flashing master caution light and noticed the left hand engine (PW120A) oil pressure was fluctuating. The crew stopped the climb at FL190, the oil pressure continued to decrease into the caution range. The crew worked the related checklists, notified ATC and decided to divert to Pickle Lake,ON (Canada), shut the engine down and landed safely in Pickle Lake.
The Canadian TSB reported maintenance discovered an oil leak in the left hand engine oil cooler.
