A Wideroe de Havilland Dash 8-100, registration LN-WII performing flight
WF-794 from Trondheim to Roervik (Norway), was on approach to Roervik when lightning struck the aircraft prompting the crew to go around and return to Trondheim, where the aircraft landed safely back about 75 minutes after departure.
The airline reported the aircraft was struck by lightning and needs maintenance check the aircraft. The rotation was cancelled. The passengers were rebooked onto other flights, ground transport (bus) is also possible.
