VF-509 from Ankara (Turkey) to Berlin (Germany) with 164 people on board, was on final approach to Berlin's runway 07R when the crew reported hydraulic problems and initiated a missed approach. The aircraft entered a hold, then positioned for another approach to runway 06R and landed without further incident about 20 minutes after the go around.
The airport reported an arriving Boeing 737 prompted an alert due to hydraulic problems shortly before 18:00L and needed to enter a hold. Airport and surrounding emergency services put on stand by. The aircraft landed safely.
The aircraft was able to depart for the return flight with a delay of about 4 hours.
