An American Airlines Airbus A321-200, registration N135NN performing flight AA-1764 from Dallas Ft. Worth,TX to San Francisco,CA (USA), departed Dallas' runway 18L, climbed to FL280 enroute and landed on San Francisco's runway 28R about 3 hours after departure.
The FAA reported: "AIRCRAFT LANDED AND POST FLIGHT INSPECTION REVEALED DAMAGE TO THE #2 ENGINE COWLING, SAN FRANCISCO, CA.", right hand engine (V2533).
