AA-2746 from Los Angeles,CA to Dallas Ft. Worth,TX (USA), was climbing out of Los Angeles' runway 25R when the crew stopped the climb at FL240 reporting strong vibrations on their right hand engine (CFM56). The crew decided to return to Los Angeles for a safe landing on runway 25L about 50 minutes after departure.
Tower advised emergency services of a right hand engine failure.
