An Anadolujet Boeing 737-800, registration TC-JKU performing flight VF-4316 from Ankara to Hakkari (Turkey), was on approach to Hakkari when the crew aborted the approach due to weather conditions and entered a hold. Subsequently the crew positioned for another approach to runway 29 and continued to touch down at about 13:16L (10:16Z), but were unable to stop the aircraft before the end of the runway. The aircraft stopped with the nose gear on soft ground, the main gear on the paved surface of the runway end safety area and became disabled. There were no injuries.
