An ANZ Air New Zealand Airbus A320-200, registration ZK-OAB performing flight
NZ-677 from Auckland to Dunedin (New Zealand), was on final approach to Dunedin's runway 21 descending through about 1800 feet MSL when the crew initiated a go around due to a hydraulic failure and decided to divert to Christchurch (New Zealand). The aircraft climbed back to FL250 and landed safely on Christchurch's runway 02 about 50 minutes after the go around.
The airline reported emergency services were on standby as a precaution, the passengers disembarked safely and were re-accomodated.
