3L-249 from Thiruvananthapuram (India) to Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates) with 171 people on board, was climbing out of Thiruvananthapuram's runway 32 when the crew stopped the climb at 6000 feet due to a hydraulic failure affecting the landing gear and returned to Thiruvananthapuram for a safe landing on runway 32.
The flight was cancelled.
