An Aerolineas Argentinas Airbus A330-200, registration LV-GHQ performing flight
AR-1132 from Buenos Aires Ezeiza,BA (Argentina) to Madrid,SP (Spain), was climbing out of Ezeiza's runway 11 when the crew stopped the climb at FL050 due to the left hand engine (CF6) experiencing compressor stalls. The aircraft returned to Ezeiza for a safe landing on runway 11 about 25 minutes after departure.
A replacement Airbus A330-200 registration LV-KHU is estimated to reach Madrid with a delay of about 4 hours.
The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Buenos Aires about 14 hours after landing back.
