AD4639 - Incident: Azul E295 at Sao Paulo on Aug 13th 2022

An Azul Linhas Aereas Embraer ERJ-195-E2, registration PS-AEB performing flight AD4639 from Juazeiro Do Norte,CE to Sao Paulo Viracopos,SP (Brazil) with 129 passengers and 5 crew, landed on Viracopos Airport#s runway 15 but struck its tail onto the runway surface. The aircraft rolled out without further incident.

The aircraft remained on the ground for about 69 hours before returning to service.

Brazil's CENIPA reported the aircraft sustained minor damage and rated the occurrence an incident.
