A Biman Bangladesh Boeing 737-800, registration S2-AFM performing flight BG-388 from Dhaka (Bangladesh) to Bangkok (Thailand), was accelerating for takeoff from Dhaka's runway 14 when the crew rejected takeoff at high speed (about 100 knots over ground) following a bird strike. The aircraft slowed safely and returned to the apron. Feathers were found entangled between the wheels of the left main gear, both left main tyres were deflated.

A replacement Boeing 737-800 registration S2-AHV reached Bangkok with a delay of about 5:45 hours.
