A Camair Boeing 737-700, registration TJ-QCA performing flight
QC-222 from Yaounde to Garoua (Cameroon), was in the initial descent towards Garoua when the cabin pressure was lost, the passenger oxygen masks were released. The aircraft performed an emergency descent and continued for a safe landing at Garoua.
The airline reported a cabin depressurization occurred during the approach to Garoua requiring the immediate deployment of oxygen masks.
The aircraft remained on the ground in Garoua for about 2 days, then positioned to Douala (Cameroon).
