An Air Canada Rouge Boeing 767-300, registration C-FIYA performing flight RV-2384 from Toronto,ON (Canada) to Shannon (Ireland) with 2 crew, was climbing out of Toronto's runway 24R when the crew stopped the climb at FL190 and returned to Toronto due to a flaps asymmetry message. The aircraft landed safely on runway 23 about 50 minutes after departure.

The Canadian TSB reported during flaps retraction after departure the crew received a Flap/Slat Asymmetry warning, worked the related checklist, declared PAN PAN and returned to Toronto for a safe landing.
