An Air Caraibes Avions de Transport Regional ATR-72-212A, registration F-OSIT performing flight TX-303 from Pointe-a-Pitre (Guadeloupe) to Fort-de-France (Martinique), was climbing out of Pointe-a-Pitre's runway 12 when the right hand windshield cracked prompting the crew to stop the climb at about 10,500 feet and return to Pointe-a-Pitre for a safe landing on runway 12 about 25 minutes after departure.

The flight was cancelled.

The aircraft returned to service after about 29 hours after landing.
