A Cathay Pacific Airbus A350-1000, registration B-LXJ performing flight
CX-178 from Melbourne,VI (Australia) to Hong Kong (China), was descending towards Hong Kong when the crew reported a hydraulic failure. The aircraft continued for a safe landing on Hong Kong's runway 07R about 20 minutes later.
The aircraft is still on the ground in Hong Kong about 17.5 hours after landing.
