A Constanta Airlines Antonov AN-26 on behalf of the World Food Programme, registration UR-CEP performing a freight flight from Rubkona to Bor (South Sudan) with 5 crew and 3,152 kg of cargo, landed on Bor's runway 01 at 13:18L (11:18Z) but touched down hard at 3.08G about 60 meters ahead of the runway threshold. The aircraft's left main gear ran over a drainage ditch about 55 meters before the runway threshold. The aircraft rolled out without further incident. There were no injuries, the aircraft sustained substantial damage however.
Ukraine's NBAAI reported the aircraft had already done sectors Juba-Malakal and Malakal-Rubkona. It was the airline's first flight to Bor. On board were captain, first officer, a flight engineer and two technicians of the airline. During the approach to Bor's runway 01 the aircraft collided with the ground about 60 meters ahead of the runway threshold resulting in a vertical load of 3.08G.
