An Eastern Air Express Boeing 737-400, registration N804TJ performing flight BBQ-2150 from Havana (Cuba) to Ft. Myers,FL (USA), was on approach to Fort Myers' runway 06 when the crew went around from about 900 feet and repositioned for another approach to runway 06. The aircraft landed on runway 06 about 15 minutes after the go around but veered off the runway. There were no injuries, the runway needed to be closed for about 90 minutes.
On Nov 26th 2025 the FAA reported (catching up after the government shutdown): "AIRCRAFT VEERED OFF THE RUNWAY INTO THE GRASS UPON LANDING."
