An Easyjet Europe Airbus A320-200, registration OE-IJG performing flight
U2-7259 from Palma Mallorca,SP (Spain) to Edinburgh,SC (UK), was enroute at FL380 about 120nm south of Edinburgh when the crew initiated an emergency descent and released the passenger oxygen masks. The aircraft landed safely on Edinburgh's runway 24 about 25 minutes after leaving FL380.
Passengers reported the crew released the oxygen masks due to suspected loss of cabin pressure.
The airline reported the aircraft was met by emergency services due to a techhnical issue.
