An Air France Airbus A318-100, registration F-GUGQ performing flight
AF-7670 from Paris Charles de Gaulle to Marseille (France), was descending through FL200 towards Marseille when the crew declared emergency reporting smoke in the cabin. ATC kept Marseille's runway 13L sterile afterwards sending other arrivals into holds for about 15 minutes. The A318 continued for a safe landing on runway 13L about 13 minutes later and taxied to the apron.
The occurrence aircraft remained on the ground over night and resumed service about 8 hours after landing.
