An Air France Airbus A320-200, registration F-GKXJ performing flight
AF-1258 from Paris Charles de Gaulle (France) to Rabat (Morocco), was climbing through FL300 when the crew stopped the climb and performed an emergency descent to FL110. The aircraft returned to Paris Charles de Gaulle for a safe landing on runway 08L about 45 minutes after departure.
The airline reported the aircraft returned to CDG due to a suspicious smell on board of the aircraft.
A replacement A320-200 registration F-GKXM reached Rabat with a delay of about 3:45 hour.
The occurrence aircraft returned to service about 46 hours after landing back.
