A Gol Transportes Aereos Boeing 737-8 MAX, registration PR-XMV performing flight
G3-1999 from Maceio,AL to Brasilia,DF (Brazil) with 141 passengers and 6 crew, was accelerating for takeoff from Maceio's runway 12 already beyond V1 when a bird impacted and damaged the right hand pitot tube. The crew continued takeoff, levelled off at 5000 feet and returned to Maceio for a safe landing on runway 12 about 25 minutes after departure.
Brazil's CENIPA reported the occurrence was rated an incident, the aircraft received minor damage.
