A Gol Transportes Aereos Boeing 737-8 MAX, registration PR-XMI performing flight
G3-1715 from Rio de Janeiro Galeao,RJ to Joao Pessoa,PB (Brazil), was enroute at FL350 about 170nm north of Vitoria,ES (Brazil) when the crew received a left engine (LEAP) oil filter bypass indication. The crew worked the related checklists and shut the engine down. The aircraft landed on Vitoria's runway 02 about 45 minutes later.
The aircraft is still on the ground in Vitoria 5 days later.
Brazil's CENIPA reported the aircraft has not yet been released with regard to investigation.
